Panama Lerida Pacamara Natural is a natural-processed Pacamara coffee grown at 1,600 meters on Lerida Estate in Boquete, Panama, cupping with caramel, strawberry, and a distinctive cooling mint finish. Pacamara is best known for its unusually large bean — noticeably bigger than standard Arabica — a trait bred into the variety decades ago that also tends to carry through into a fuller body in the cup.

Boquete's coffee reputation rests mostly on Geisha, but Lerida Estate grows Pacamara alongside it, and this lot shows a completely different side of what the region can do: heavier body, deeper sweetness, and that unusual mint note in the finish rather than Geisha's floral, tea-like delicacy. Natural processing — drying the whole cherry intact around the bean — pushes that sweetness further, giving this lot a rounder, more dessert-leaning profile than a washed Pacamara would show.

We roast it super-light to protect the mint and strawberry notes the process develops, since a darker roast flattens exactly the character that makes this lot distinct. It's a good next coffee to try alongside our natural-processed Geisha from the same estate, Panama Lerida Geisha Natural — same ground, same processing philosophy, an entirely different varietal. Part of our Bright & Fruity and Exclusive Coffees collections.
