Grinder Fit

PUQpress builds the M4 specifically for Fiorenzato's F64 and F83 grinders — it is not a universal mount for other brands. If your bar runs a Mahlkönig, Ceado, Pinecone, or Victoria Arduino/Nuova Simonelli grinder instead, PUQpress makes a dedicated integrated model for each: M2 for Mythos, M3 for Mahlkönig E65S, M5 for Mahlkönig E80S, and M6 for Victoria Arduino's MY series.

DABOV's own grinder lineup doesn't currently include Fiorenzato, so the M4 is best suited to a bar that already owns an F64 or F83 and wants to add automatic tamping without replacing the grinder. A standalone PUQpress Q is the alternative for any other 58.3 mm-basket grinder, including our own Mahlkönig and Ceado lines.

• Fiorenzato has been "perfecting grinding since 1936," per the company's own description of its history — nearly a century of Italian coffee-grinder manufacturing from its headquarters in Santa Maria di Sala, in the Veneto region near Venice.

• The M4 shares its 10 kg pressure floor with only one other PUQpress model — the entry-level Mini standalone tamper. Every other integrated M-series model (M2, M3, M5, M6) adjusts down to 5 kg.

• The M4's tamping-profile set is also the shortest of the integrated line — three profiles (Speedy, Precision, Single) rather than the five (adding Hulk and Soft) found on the M2, M3, M5, and M6.
