Balanced Blends

Single origins get the spotlight, but blends do the daily work. A well-built blend smooths out the peaks — enough sweetness, enough body, a hint of brightness — so the tenth cup of the month tastes as good as the first. These six are composed in-house by a roastery whose founder judges at the Cup of Excellence, which means even our "easy drinkers" are built from lots that cleared a serious quality bar.

The DABOV Signature Blend is the flagship: the coffee we'd hand you if you asked us to pick. House Blend Vertigo and House Blend UNITY lean into espresso territory, while Izabel's Blend "TAKE IT EASY" is exactly what the name promises — a relaxed, mellow cup for slow mornings. Impressions House Blend and Colombini round out the family with their own takes on the balanced brief.

Are blends better than single origins for espresso?

For consistency, usually yes. Espresso magnifies everything, and a blend gives the roaster levers to balance sweetness against acidity that a single lot can't offer. If you're buying an espresso blend for daily home shots or an office machine, start here — then branch into single origins once you know which flavor direction pulls you.
