Originating from Muyinga Province, located in the northern part of Burundi, this coffee is grown in picturesque hills with an average altitude ranging from 1500 to 1700 meters. Processing and Sustainability
Since 2021, the coffee has been skillfully processed at the Karambo washing station, under the capable leadership of Etienne Girukwishaka. This facility serves approximately 2000 farmers from the region, whose collective farms span over 50 hectares. The coffee plays a vital role in Burundi’s economy, serving as a crucial source of income for many families. By supporting education and infrastructure development, this coffee contributes significantly to improving the livelihoods of local communities.
