Why we chose it
Wonago is situated within the administrative area of Gedeo, at about 1750-1850 meters above sea level.
It is a neighbor to Yirgachefe.
It was once one of the highest coffee-producing areas in Yirgachefe with many washing stations.
The coffee that we chose is both complex and elegant.
Its flavor nuances call for an association with a mouthful of juicy, ripe fruits with a sweetness that melts in fresh acidity.
You can expect a dominating acidity of washed Ethiopian coffees because all the pulp is removed from the coffee during this process.
This contrasts with the natural process, where sweetness is predominant.
