PUQpress builds the M5 to mount specifically to the Mahlkönig E80S and E80S GbW — the two variants share the same 80 mm burr platform and chute geometry, so one mount fits either the timer-dosing Mahlkönig E80S or the gravimetric Mahlkönig E80S GbW, both carried by DABOV.

The M5 is not interchangeable with the M3, which is sized for Mahlkönig's smaller 65 mm E65S platform instead — the two grinders use different chute geometry even though both are Mahlkönig E-series.
