Who It's For

Jack is for a venue that wants automated milk steaming without depending on an espresso machine's boiler at all — a bakery serving lattes alongside pastries, a drip-coffee counter, or any cafe where the espresso machine's steam capacity is already fully committed to bar service. Because it plumbs directly into the water main and runs its own boiler, it's also the right choice for a second steaming station that needs to operate independently of the main bar.

It suits a shop willing to give up the extra 14cm of depth that housing its own boiler requires, in exchange for not needing any other equipment to function. A venue that already has a semi-automatic machine with a separate steam boiler and spare capacity (constant 1.3–1.4 bar pressure, at least 2400W reserved) — and wants a more compact unit that shares that boiler instead of plumbing a second one — should compare the Perfect Moose Greg.
